2/27/2012 - February Meeting
Imagine, you wake up and look out the window, the forecast was right, a foot of snow fell last night...finally! You grab your gear, the sled is already in the trailer, you fire up the truck and put it into drive, its time to go. You get to the trail and meet with the others who share the same enthusiasm about riding as you do. This day couldn't be any better. You do a brief check of supplies, you're gonna need em... because today you'll ride until the sun goes down.

We the BGL Sled Dogs are dedicated to the great outdoors and all the trails we provide to our guests and members. With over sixty two miles of adventurous riding we never run out of fun. We take great pride in our trails by constantly grooming them with our friends and family throughout the year. We are always seeking permission for new trails to e

xpand our riding areas. With over three hundred and fifty members throughout New England we know its very hard or impossible for every member to attend the meetings. On this website you will be able to view meeting minutes, check weather and trail conditions, find hotels, restaurants and area business sponsors. HAPPY TRAILS!

****NEW NEWS****

Im excited to say Our club has bought a mini-truck for trail maintenance and to be used as a groomer.

Over the past few years our club has grown in so many ways. Trails have been widened, bridges have upgraded and added to make our trails more enjoyable and safer and we have some good sleds and groomers that keep our trails in great shape.      Last year Bob Mason put together a geo tracker and a groomer and showed us the way to the next level of grooming. I am excited to say that over the summer, with some creative wheeling and dealing, the club has purchased a mini-truck. Its less than 5 feet wide, 4 wheel drive and can be used for trail maintenance during the fall and then with a set of tracks so we can use it for grooming.    Sound good so far, are you now looking forward to even better groomed and maintained trails then we have ever had before? Well this is where you can all help and maybe even get lucky too.

All we need to do is raise the money to purchase the tracks, so we are doing a 20/20 raffle. Tickets are only $20 a piece, we award 20 prizes, and only sell 200 of them. The top prize is $500 and range down to $50. We will be drawing all the winners at our swap meet on Nov 13Th.

For the price of a half tank of gas for your sled, you have a 1 in 10 chance to win a prize in the raffle and if we sell all the tickets you have a 100% chance to enjoy better trails! Its a Win - Win situation!    Check out our Facebook page and our picture section here on our web page for pics and updates our progress .

To purchase tickets, and We can deliver! OR to help us sell them contact Jeff Miller at 413-522-0796 or Brad Stafford at 413-374-4201 or mail your payment with your name and  mailing address to BGL snowmobile club, 241 West Leyden Road, Leyden Mass 01337
